Moulded Rubber Sheets

In demanding industrial sealing and heavy-duty lining applications, the thickness tolerance and material density of a rubber plate directly dictate the assembly precision and operational lifespan of the final gasket.

Meridian utilizes advanced large-scale hydraulic press vulcanizers and a 100% closed-cavity moulding process, completely setting our products apart from standard calendered rubber sheeting. We deliver premium tech-grade rubber plates with unmatched dimensional control and superior mechanical properties.

“Molded” rubber sheets are elastomeric sheet materials produced by molding processes. The “molding” process means the uncured (raw) rubber compound is placed into a mold cavity and then vulcanized under heat/pressure so the sheet comes out with the desired thickness, dimensions, shape, and often reinforcement or bonded layers.

In practice, molded rubber sheets are particularly suited when thicker gauges, special compounding, reinforcements (fabric, metal bonding), or heavy-duty applications are required — often more specialized than standard extruded/calendered sheet rubber.
